The Physical Marks screen is one of many demographic screens used either when booking an offender into an institution, or when performing an intake on an offender for community work. The Physical Marks screen records any physical markings or features (such as scars or tattoos) that help to identify the offender. You can record any number of distinguishing characteristics here. You can also view or capture images of identifying marks here.
For institutional work: if you haven't used a formpath through the
booking sequence, select Institutions

For community work: if you haven't used a formpath through the intake
sequence, select Community

Menu.
Click in the Type field of the Identifying Marks block and complete the following:
Type: select from the List of Values; mandatory.
Body Part: select from the List of Values; mandatory.
Side: select from the List of Values; optional.
Orientation: select from the List of Values; optional.
Comment: type in a comment; optional.
Click on Save.
To add additional marks, click in the Type field and click on the Insert button. Then repeat steps 2 and 3.
Once each record has been saved, you can scroll through the recorded marks in the Type field with the arrow keys (up or down). You can record any number of physical marks.
To capture or view an image of a mark, select it from the list and click on the Image button.
From the Identifying Marks block, click on Next Block to advance to the next screen in the booking or intake sequence.
